Would there be any interest in a Carmina Slipper GMTO? I was thinking:

Slipper- 80248
Loden/Brown/Polo Suede (preferences from most to least)
Uetam Last
Tomir sole

Thoughts? Maybe something we can get through this fall for spring '18.

Hey @KPDarb , I'm not sure if there's been a change but Carmina isn't taking anymore Skoak gmtos.

BTW although I haven't participated yet, these monthly GMTO's (you've been running for a while) are excellent, keep them coming. Looking forward to next month!
Yeah I love this monthly preorders that have been running. Of course I can't join in on every one but the options have been excellent and I have been looking forward to the monthly emails coming out announcing the options for each month.

Keep up the good work fellas!

Thanks! The monthly GMTOs have been very popular and I think everyone appreciates the "monthly routine" concept.

News to me! Thanks for the info. Was there an explanation why they ended group orders? Now that I think about it, I haven't seen one posted in quite a while. I suppose single customer order it is then.

Many manufacturers are limiting their retailers in order to sell more directly to consumers. Independent retailers are under pressure because of this. Honestly, limitations in MTOs and GMTOs is something that has become more and more bothersome. It stared with Edward Green and has spread to G&G and others. Skoaktiebolaget was a very early adopter and advocate of the GMTO concept (I think we might have actually coined the phrase) so it is a paradox to say the least. I understand why manufacturers wants to sell directly to consumers but I wish they would also understand the need for good retailers. I believe there is an important symbiosis between manufacturer and retailers, even in this day and age of e-commerce, where access to consumers might seem much easier than before. But there is a limit to how far the (independent) manufacturers can reach without good retailers. Unless they are backed by a fashion conglomerate, upon which they will of course not be independent anymore.

Is one in the pipe-works?

Not really. The Core Collection makes GMTOs more or less abundant. And at this price point most people chose single MTOs. But we will gladly accept any client organised GMTOs.

That is surprising given the fact that shoes at this price point need to be tried on. I would think they would want as many brick and mortar stores to carry there merchandise.
