. I know I shouldn't dial up the politics here so I will simply say this - you nailed it.

For the life of me, I don't think I will get a bal boot. It's a pain to get them on and off.

My personal opinion is museum calf calls for a simpler design due to the leather itself. Either a PTB, double monk, or an Oxford. I can already imagine a italian chisel last DM from bonafe as a possibility.

I have two pairs of bal boots and can't say I agree with you on that at all. All laced tall boots require more work than shoes - but in that category, bals aren't any kind of a particular pain. IME.

Yeah, I'd be interested in a US size 13 on those beauties!

Is this GMTO order going through? Same exact style just in burgundy calf?

So, what you really are telling me is that you have several pair of shoes in size 11.5 that you need to get rid of [IMG].

Quote: I am interested in this. When are you closing the MTO and how does it work with Bonafe MTO:s, is it 25 or 50% up front? Also, do you have a Bonafe with this last in store in 11 or 11.5?

I have the 946 last in stock in UK 11 and 11.5. Nothing in 2102B, it's completely sold out. I was aimoing at closing this GMTO April 3.

Please note that all boots or none of the boots must have metal toe tips, all boots in a series have to be exactly the same except for size if you want to avoid the MTO surcharge.

Someone asked before for a doeskin and snuff suede comparison. Here it is. Snuff Suede to the right.. Doeskin is softer than suede but the texture is more rough. Doeskin is really only ideal for loafers and slipper IMO, perfect for summer.

Given the requirement that all boots in the order are the same, we are planning to order these with metal toe taps. The full details are as follows:

This Bonafe model, with double rows of stitching and a row of stitching by the eyelets (as in the other boot pictured):

    Details:

    - Dark brown calf upper/dark brown grained calf shaft
    - 2102 soft chiseled last
    - Norvegese welt
    - Natural sole edge
    - Regular width
    - Double leather soles
    - Metal toe taps

    Price:
    Boot: 6,200 SEK including VAT / 4,960 SEK ex-VAT + 300 SEK shipping (approximately $810 USD shipped)
