Looking at the Ferragamo Faraone and Fantino and neither Nordstrom nor Barney's had them in stock near me to try on.

Planning to buy two sizes of each off Barney's website, try them on and return what doesn't fit/I don't like.

I typically take a 10/10.5 EEE (in AE), but neither comes in EEE so not sure about sizing. How much extra length am I likely going to need to get to fit properly in width for a EE (Faraone) and D (Fantino)?

I typically get sneakers (most commonly D width) in 11, so thinking 10.5 and 11 D might be my best bet for the Fantino, but what about the Faraone?

If you are a triple E in AE, I would not do a D, especially if there are Tramezza, which run narrow.. I'd do a 10 1/2 EE and go from there. If you size up too much, they are not going to fit well and will probably blister your heels like all hell..

I agree, your AE size is the same as mine, 10.5 EE. In slimmer Ferragamo lasts, i take an 11 EE, and in others i take a 10.5 EE. If you are indeed ordering two at a time, try those two sizes.

As a side note, i was only made aware recently that some Tremezza models are availabel in EEE, interesting...

Thanks for the input...

Looks like the EE sizes in the Faraone are tough to come by online (only found them at all at Park & Bond, and they're sold out in my sizes in the brown).

Any other suggestions for online vendors to check out that carry the 10/10.5 EE Faraone in Brown/Brandy? The Fantino seems to be easier to find.
