    Hello gentlemen
I found a suit on Ebay but I'm not sure about the size of the pants. In their description they write:
    Pants Measurements:
    Waist: 33.5"
    Outseam Length: 47.3" (unfinished)
    Inseam Len: 36"

Am I wrong or is the size
    w: 33.5
    L: 36

How much can you alter a pair of dress pants?

You can usually take in/let out the waist by 1 1/2" (in extremis 2").

The trousers are unfinished. If need be, use a "false hem" then you can finish them at any length up to 35 3/4.

Outseam: length from hem to waistband.
Inseam: length from hem to crotch.
