1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

For your consideration is a beautiful pair of Alden Color 8 Shell Cordovan Leisure Hand-Sewn Moccasin (Model 986), crafted in November 2013. They are a size 8.5D and shaped over the Van last. These shoes were purchased new for US$680.

They have been gently worn about 12-15 times but they don’t fit my narrow heels and wide forefoot properly. I inserted heel pads to try and improve the fit but unfortunately, I have recognized that the shoe just doesn’t work for me (I can remove the heel pads prior to shipping if you request). They were worn in rotation and always kept in shoe trees (shoe trees not included in the sale). These shoes are a beautiful burgundy color (unlike some of the darker color 8 you'll see coming out of Alden these days) and will age fantastically. As you can see from the pictures, the heels and soles have plenty of life left too!

    For reference, I wear: Alden Barrie 8.5D, Tricker's 4537 8UK, Edward Green 202/606 8UK, Carmina Detroit 8UK, Crockett & Jones 335 8UK

    Features:
    Hand stitched moccasin toe
    Genuine Horween Shell Cordovan
    Goodyear welted
    Single oak leather sole
    Van last

    Contents:
Alden Leisure Hand Sewn shoe (Model 986), size 8.5D x 1 Pair
Original Alden shoe bags x 1 Pair
Original Alden shoe box x 1
    NOTE: Shoe Trees NOT included

    Terms & Conditions
    Price: SOLD
Worldwide Shipping (with tracking): US$20 (I ship from Taiwan using the post office)
    Payment Method: PayPal

I have conducted many transactions on SF and have numerous references. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for looking!
