I have read the suit hierarchy list and have some idea of what suits I should be buying, but finding them is nearly impossible in the range I look. It seems like other than BB and Suit Supply, all of my searching is on ebay for that *one great deal,* which is quite time consuming. All the Nordstrom, Saks, and other retail stores are kind of a shot in the dark with getting a good deal or not too. Not to mention in the hierarchy list so many suits are listed as "mainline" only, and I have no idea how to even identify a Canali mainline from a Canali non-mainline. To be honest at this point I've been considering just buying a Signature Gold from Jos A Bank for $390 while it's on a 70% off sale, but I'm sure there is a better deal to be had out there for me.
So really the point of my thread was to ask about recommended sites, ebay sellers, etc. where I can search truly good value suits being sold at the reasonable price point I mentioned. If at this budget it really is Suit Supply, BB, or a needle in a haystack ebay search, then so be it. But I figure it's at least worth asking.
FWIW I am 30 but work from phone so rarely need a suit. However I would like a nice Charcoal one to use if I need to go to a client meeting, decide to look for another job (interview), or just need to go to a nice evening formal event. TIA
