Edina picked up on that #9's support for his conclusion of being able to handle logic rested on him majoring in Phil in college, which is flimsy. So, Edina pointed out he majored in Phil to call into question #9's support for his conclusion. Here, Edina was facetiously intimating that he himself couldn't handle basic logic, even though he majored in Phil in college, so he's saying majoring in Phil does not substantiate anything.

The next part is full-on shitpoasting. I play on the term "me too" because Edina damaged #9's credibility while essentially saying "me too...I majored in philosophy.". But it was also a 'suicide attack' because Edina saw fit to damage his own credibility in the process as well. So, normally, when you damage someone's cred, it's so you can benefit in some way or bolster your cred or enact justice or even all three. Take your pick. But Edina does it for pure sport.

However, was Edina really being facetious? Every other Edina poast is a joke at his own expense. By all appearances, this is not part of a schtick. So, I'm telling Edina he needs to improve his self-esteem. Cut out the stuff of poasting unkempt pictures of himself and inviting ridicule, and getting serious about WAYWRN. Less importantly, I mean for him to realize the mental image he has of himself is falsely negative. So then, I unproductively shoot from the hip with some psycho-babble about Ed's father, because Ed talks about his father a lot in different ways: sometimes he's 'the man,' other times he this set-in-his-ways-curmudgeon-who-doesn't-get-it. Lot going on here. So, I think Ed's self-esteem issues may be rooted in a parental or early childhood relationship of some kind. While I may be completely off-base, I do feel Ed doesn't value himself as much as he should. It could just be an interent schtick, but Edina really underestimates himself if half of what he poasts has any sincerity to it.

Also, the image was from an old Al Franken skit. He lost his career in a me too moment, so there is some loose tie-in to end this train wreck of a poast. I only realized this last bit after.

Also, that whole thing about Foo is total bunk. I'm a man who constantly needs new material to satisfy my appetite, and right now as we speak, I'm full-on ******** up the watch threak. It may be headed for a complete derailment. Quartz erat demonstrandum:

What’s the reason for scrubbing an affiliate vendor thread of talk regarding the legal actions that the affiliate vendor has taken? I wasn’t particularly bothered by the legal action itself, but the mods’ censoring of the thread irks me.
