1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Did Stitches get a TO or something? First time he's not had double the posts of the #2 slot in the last seven days stat board for years and has not posted in several days.

    I'm sure it's Passover related.

Although I am curious what the stink he caused was about.

Wait just a minute, Claghorn, you're saying that Stitches was put in time out because of Passover? Man, I don't know about that got some misgivings.

Fok felt he should be spending more time with his family.

Edit: Stitchy says shabbos rules don't apply during Passover.

I just did a big spamination of reported posts. I also checked the forum and didn't see anything else. If you see something I missed, please report it like you did the others.

Holy shit! Yeah there is! Got it all (I think).

A, is that the subforum you meant? Lots more spam in there than the was in Food and Drink.

By the way, all, please report spam when you see it. There are times when I log in and check the mod queue but don't have a chance to go to subfora or particular threads, which is what I did a little while ago. Reported posts make it more likely spam will be seen and dealt with quickly.

    Gah, yes, sorry. Thanks GF.

I didn't report those just because there were so, so many of them.

Until GF mentioned it, I just figured you had a really strange definition of "deluge!"

Yeah, that makes sense. Mentioning it here is a perfectly reasonable alternative to reporting the post, especially when it's that prolific.

I'm surprised he hasn't complained to the rabbi and gotten those rules changed.

just to clarify, passover is an 8 day holiday. the first 2 days and last 2 days have shabbos like prohibitions, the middle 4 do not. my absence was nothing more than just a little break for breaks sake.

    ---

i have got this a few times today:
