1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Fok on behalf of the entire Styleforum team

Since yesterday when I browse SF from my iPhone I'm getting advertisements in between the posts. I think previously there used to be a "style forum would like to thank our sponsors" link or something. But now the actual ads are there. I haven't changed any settings or downloaded any apps. It's very annoying. Any ideas in how to get rid of this?

I have noticed that too. No biggie imo. Maybe install an ad blocker app on your phone or something?

The "I-am-girl" store is trying to sell me stuff. I'm not pretty enough to be a Korean girl.

You can just "trust" the message. Evidently, the wording in the header of the notification triggers something in gmail. We are working to fix this.

lol. And ugh. We are tuning some of the settings on the forum, but this should not be happening, at all. I've kicked this to the technical people, and hopefully, it gets resolved, and quickly. If it doesn't get resolved over the weekend, please be patient. It probably means an engineer is having a drink and complaining about me.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I don't think he's violating any of the rules of the forum, he's just annoying.
