1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Don't let it get out. Could ruin my reputation.

BTW: the idea that a psychic would spam the forum is kinda lol-worthy. If you were really a good psychic you'd know who to PM.

Recently, whenever I accidentally click on a picture and go into "gallery view" (it is always accidental, because if I wanted to see slightly smaller versions of the pictures in a post I would just sit further away from the screen), it has caused my browser to stall, and I've had to force quit or restart my computer. Has happened three times in the last couple of days and gallery view always seems to be the cause. I'm using safari.

So you got the nice duck reference? My man.

For those who didn't, 9:02-9:10 but you really need to watch the whole show to get the import.

Apparently UnnamedPlayer had a bad experience with Howard Yount. He has spoken about it before with reasonable complaints, but now he insists on shitting up the affiliate thread.

Yep, saw that episode. Although my favorite one (thus far) is the one in which Perry and Candice go through the teleporter at the same time and switch bodies. I have not laughed that hard in years.

And, I'm a little surprised that no one's used the "oh, he doesn't do much" in relation to my, ahem, moderation.

Same thing here. Going from p.1 to p. 2 of Classic Classifieds locks up Safari as well.

it would be greatly appreciated, the excedrin ad is giving me a headache! :uhoh:

seriously, i don't care about ads on the side, i know SF needs to make cash and thats fair but taking over the browser when i refresh is going a bit too far.

Any way to edit old threads? Trying to fix a youtube link in a 2010 thread comes up empty.

But if you don't get attacked you won't know if your IT department is actually good.

For me as well (also Safari). Seems like some sort of memory leak.

I've been reliably informed lately by whores, crackheads and petty thieves that it may be a good idea to lift javyn's CE ban.

    You're banned? Isn't his whole forum...yours?

edit: In the interest of compromise, I'll be quite happy only having read access to the stupid political crap facebook threak. That's the only thing I really miss...

Yeah, partially reformed!! For example, I promise I'm not *nearly* as nuts about Rand Paul as I was about Ron. So you needn't fear a multi-post "OMG RAND PAUL!!!111" bomb, not from me at least.

    You were banned?

I support all three entering CE once more. Manton's banning was self imposed, so I suppose he just needs to decide to rejoin the fray.
