Yeah, no problem - but I don't think I should be getting shit for reporting the insults and asking for action, as is (predictably) happening.

I also find it strange that a forum affiliate vendor would post such crude and terrible things. Granted, I am sure his main customer base doesn't care, but it's still a rather nasty black eye to inflict upon your own company.

For all of the hipsters in the crowd, and all the morons who use the term incorrectly, this, my friends, is irony.

Hey, I might be an asshole, but at least I'm upfront about it. That's most definitely a trait that we share.

I honestly don't see how the dog eating crack doesn't deserve something either, but I will defer to Fok's full-Asian ancestry.

Why do you people want other people to be punished? What does that do for you?

My wife tells me that because the Chinese, who will eat nearly anything, do not have a recipe for cat this is de facto proof cats are inedible. Apparently the same cannot be said for dogs.

I have never thought about this, but the reasoning is compelling.

Except for her lapse in picking me for a mate she is a quite intelligent woman.

It is about satisfying their egos. People are taking themselves way to serious as of late. I think most of the pretend offense taken for such silliness on here is at an all time high. Offense is a choice and sometimes joking around is just joking around.

i just watched little big man last night, and there the cheyenne/"human beings" ate dogs. so i think as indian conquerers, the americans have claim to expertise in the area just as legitimately.

The trouble is that some people feel as though they have a right not to be offended. They don't. Someone crosses the line and says something inappropriate to you on an internet forum? Make a mental note that they're an asshole, and move on with your life. Problem solved.

Very few people have so little going on that they'll continue to torment another who does not respond. Most of us learn this in kindergarten. If you find that you are continually being hassled by strangers on the internet, it's probably a good idea to spend some time thinking about why that is.

Really? So why is it you spend time here, as opposed to, say, somewhere largely unmoderated, like the fashion section of 4chan?

He's not speaking to moderation he's speaking to those who seek moderation because they are thin-skinned and vindictive.

for the most part i agree with this. i would only add, that there are times where people do use the anonymity of the interent to cross lines that really aught not to be crossed, or push buttons for the sake of pushing buttons. whatever the reason, its almost always better, or rather, it probably is always better, to contact a mod. that is part of what they are here for. to date, i do not think i have seen someone come here to air a beef against another poster that ended well, or could not have been handled swifter, and with greater effect, via PM.
