Uhh.... soo...... I need help from a real mod.

I saw a spam thread in general chat, so I checked the box and went to the top and hit "delete." All it did was delete the sticky, while the thread still stands....

2 minor things:
Any way to get an auto-finish for search by username? I know it'll probably a **** ton of work, but it was among the most useful of the old search functions, especially when you wanted to look for someone with a hard to spell handle
When I'm browsing on Tapatalk, it won't refresh threads. I can refresh through the forum thread list, and it'll show up all ordered saying there are posts since the last refresh, but when I go into the thread itself it will only show the old posts unless I close down the app and reload the forum, kind of a pain.

Any insight on why Thrifter's Trading Post thread is locked and when it will reopen or resurface in another place? I have (am about to) trade another item in that post and would like to edit it when the trade completes.

I'm not quite sure what you're describing. When you say 'before', do you mean a little while ago in this version, or in the old vB SF? Can you explain how to make the issue happen? That will help with getting help for it.

SoI find that my experience here now centers around subscribed threads, and I care much less about having a small set of them.

It's more like the old "threads I've posted in". The Forum page still isn't as useful, somehow, but the subscribed thread page is great.

I don't speak for any of the mods or admins, but here goes.

re: 'can be bent over' - you got what you had coming to you, same as everyone else who requests a title and even some who don't. No matter how much you rub the bottle, Barbara Eden will not spring forth. In fact, you might very well get Rosie O'Donnell instead, and good luck dealing with that.

I would be glad to report your post as spam if you think the added attention would help your cause.

I think the problem is that images posted using the SF image host thing (vs just an img tag) are created with links to a larger view. So in tapatalk, you aren't clicking on the image, you are clicking on a link to a larger version of the image which will thus be opened in a browser.

Frankly, Huddler's support for tapatalk leaves much to be desired. Rather than retain the near-seamless interoperability that tapatalk had with vBulletin, Huddler rebuilt their tapatalk support from scratch but implemented only the most basic functions which makes for a poor experience.

I've noticed a few things... the site does a bad job at keeping my logged in. Not a big deal i just have to click but thought I'd mention it.

Also, the thumbs up feature is whack. I don't see the point if you don't get notified about it and the other problem is if you click to see who rated it, then you get the dropdown box but it will never close, it just takes you to the top of the page.
