Someone deleted it. I assume b/c of the content, but may have been a post that crossed the line whilst I was at work.

Content? There is much worse out there, do you mean content of "cursing" in thread title?

Dude, how the **** am I supposed to know? If I knew why it was deleted, I would have said so in my post. I can only imagine that the thread got deleted b/c it had content that was a sure thing to get out of control. But it's not like I picked up my bright red telephone that goes directly to Fok's beside nightstand and asked him why it was deleted.

Does SF receive a % or a flat rate when I purchase through the affiliate links. I always assumed SF was getting something like 5-10%, but I was told by a friend that it might be as little as 10 cents per purchase.
If it is a small flat rate, I would rather just send SF a few dollars when I have a good week on the B&S and purchase items through ebates or BOA Add it up.

Please let me know when you have the time here or through pm if needed.
Thanks

It's usually a percentage - 5-10% is accurate, though 10% is pretty generous. It's all commission based. Your friend is probably confusing the commission with the EPC - a lot of clickthroughs only results in a sale or two, so the average earnings per click (on average) is more in the range of $0.11-$0.12.

Fok.

[Full disclosure: Not the creator of the "**** of Ass?" threak, and not defending its title in any way.] To play devil's advocate for a second, I think it's entirely possible that the creator of that thread knew the rule and understood the rule, but was unclear about exactly what constitutes a curse word for the purposes of the rule. I'm willing to bet there is a nontrivial percentage of the SF userbase who would not consider "ass" to be a swear word, for example. Probably "****," as well, though I think common sense might prevail on that latter word choice a bit more often than on the former. Without asking the mods to go so far as to create a George Carlinesque list of words we cannot say, is there any way to add some clarity to the rule around its admittedly semi-ambiguous fringes? Is "douchebag" a swear word, for example? What about "douche," in and of itself? Or "piss?" I'm not trying to be cute here; I'm legitimately seeking clarification so that I do not **** up in the future, and so that others do not.
