I will not only remember it, I plan to steal one of the phrases.

Yeah, I hear it all the time! BTW: I'm glad to have sigged one of Manton's posts in that thread. It really highlighted the disdain I have for rampant jargoneering and underscores why I will never be a Consultant. (well besides the lack of brainpower, but I digress). Plus, it was a really good shiv between the ribs.

Outside of the guy knowing his shit, I've never been entirely sure on Manton. That thread gave me some mad respect for the guy.

I don't see it on the app. I searched styleforum and styleforum.net - no dice. Anyone else luckier?

edit: damnit, I tried browsing by category and stumbled onto the Men's Thong Forum in the fashio category [IMG] [IMG]

Sorry, try again. I didn't publish it because I wasn't sure it was working, but it works for me now.

    Bump.

Not sure what was up with that, but it is back now.

Is there any way to restore editing properties to an OP that is more than 3 months old? I'm trying to keep the Fragrance Split thread current and I can no longer edit the OP.

Not currently, but I can paste in a new OP if you send it to me.

mods, I'm curious what does the app do? what difference does it make in browsing the site on the app as opposed to the device's browser? I'm just asking because I'm the type of person who never really pays for apps. Also, will there be revisions to make the app a free downloadable app?

The app gives you a different way to access the site that is more friendly to less-advanced smartphones. IMO, if you have a smartphone you are able to use most websites on, I wouldn't bother. Tapatalk is 3rd party so it won't be free, but on the plus side if you like it, it works with a lot of other forums. It's only $2.99 total, but I agree, I don't generally pay for apps and this is the first one I have paid for. It seems to work well though.

I would not be surprised if a particular wordy poster requested the thread be squirreled due to the spanking that was underway.

    which thread is this?
