I believe he meant the "post a summary of at least 40 words" limit, not the "don't bore us with more than 40 words of your so-called wit" limit.

A lot of the Manton hate on FNB comes from his days as an AAAC inner circle member, or perceived inner circle member. He was lumped in Kabazz and thought to be too self important.

ya, I remember, and was around for a lot of the inner workings and politicking. My post was a response to the claim that people go after him because of his political views and affiliations, when actually it pre-dates that by quite a long way....

^If you're (also) talking about me. That was not the point of my post. I did not mean his political affiliation but the way his feelings/thoughts are brought in the open. Although when I think of it he expresses his thoughts on clothing more evenly, IIRC.

ya, OK fair enough on re-read, but even so...the antimanti thing long predates the era of having a rampant CE and Interchange for political discussion....

yes!!!! He's a posting machine with nothing to contribute but venomous "compliments" and marsupialed advice. One of the only person I've put on ignore from the usually rather calm "streetwear" section.

Am I the only one for whom the "quickreply" button is acting like the "quote" button? (The "quote" button is still acting like the "quote" button.)

I don't know. What is quick reply supposed to do that's different from "quote"?
