frenchy, I don't know what your issue is - other that you're despised around here and people laugh at you for fun.

I want to like you because of your taste in watches and your cute avatar. but you like to attack obamists and non-english speaking folks so I'm still undecided.

Okay, I guess we are 'on the calendar' for tomorrow night instead. Commence drunk-poasting as much as is allowable with the current hardware. Downtime tomorrow 1AM PST-ish!

May I request that Manton submit a picture for our new Database Error/404 page? Maybe one of him biting through a bundle of cables like Jaws in the Bond films. Just a suggestion

You are not going to that horrible Huddler software I hope. That's about killed two fora I am familiar with.

I don't suspect that vBulletin is to blame. There are two site that work really well with it.

That's pretty much exactly what I just said. I just ran a repair on the database just in case, but it's still slow as hell. I am assuming some config file got messed up in the upgrade process last night. Unfortunately I have to leave for a while but I will get on it ASAP. Ughhhh..

BTW, does anyone know how to configure MySQL to run any temp files off a RAM disk? We have 8GB of RAM now, this should not be this slow.

Not to get too cocky, but it does seem to be running better.
