1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

it's all part of SF's rich pageant. DT is usually about as funny as CE is thoughtful (though there are frequent enough exceptions to both to make them interesting). And Metro is always going to be an irritating self-absorbed troll, just as Manton is going to be enraged, matt is going to be grumpy and Vox is going to be ... well, Vox-like.

[IMG] Although not true. There are several guys that are damn near impossible to dislike. FLMM, MrG, you, Fok (no asskiss) etc.

Yeah I do remember. I liked DT. And I mostly don't. It's like the dork at work who comes up to you with OMG this joke is so funny you HAVE to hear this durhur. When you hear that, you know it's not going to be funny. Yeah, and really more so than the seepage, it's the killing of the wonderfully spontaneous dumb by DT. What a strange complaint I know... I just remember when it was mostly funny instead of a self-promoting race to top one another. Maybe that's nostalgia.
Here's the thing. I go on DT maybe once a month at most. And I can still attest to the fact that he is one corny idiot. It's just awful. It's not just on DT. I feel like I'm watching a Dane Cook special. The only people that like Cook are girls and the gays so if someone really thinks this guy is a comedic genius (a la Andy Kauffman), that person may be subconsciously gay. There. Done. Check please.

This pretty much sums it up. And Trans Mods is, at this time, the audience.

Okay, how many of us thought Andy Kaufman was a genius, before he died?

Mighty Mouse was funny for about a minute.
    I enjoyed Latka.

Latka was hilarious. What was his alter ego? Vic Damone?

Beyond that I admit I never understood the Kauffman-is-a-genius cult.
