Both are equally appropriate.

in the Wedding=tuxedo to me, so I'd imagine it woule be either single or no vents.

If you're just attending, it won't matter, no one will care if the rest of your outfit is appropriate

Double preferable fora lounge suit.

None in evening dress - and no evening dress for a wedding - except in USA where this sartorial abomination is commonplace.
