Hi everyone,

Just wondering on people's tips on shopping in Singapore. I know all about Vanda and intend on purchasing from them before I depart Singapore. Anyone's knowledge or advice would be much appreciated. From what I have seen so far it's mostly just big brand names which I try to stay away from.

Cheers, Sydneycentric.

Kapok is a multi-brand shop. Kevin Seah's tailorshop has G&G, Vass, EG. Raoul - mostly women's but some decent men's items. If you like crocodile wallets, bags, and belts then check out Kwanpen. Denim at Tuckshop and the Denim Store. Malmaison has a selection of Corthay, Rubinacci, and a lot of watches.

You can also check out the following, hope it helps.

- Leong T (St Crispin and I believe they are having a Finery Company trunk show this weekend)
- OnlyBrown (leather goods including brands like Ettinger and Glenroyal. Ongoing sales now. A few artisanal shops/ cafes around where the shop is located - Everton Park)
- Kay Jen, Dylan & Son, Lusso Tailor (if you would like to get some tailoring done. Lusso carries Yanko shoes too)
- Carmina singapore store (prices start from about SGD600)
- Atelier LLYR (cheap goodyear welted shoes. Believe there is an ongoing sales now too)
- Ed Et Al (singapore shoemaker/ GYW shoes)

Enjoy the rest of your stay in Singapore!

Check out Colony Clothing at UE square near Clarke Quay. If you like brands like Ring Jacket from Japan, Boglioli, PT01, Orian, Incotex, Felisi and George Cleverly.
