Can someone recommend a simple, plain polo shirt, decent quality though not luxury (e.g., not Smedley; $200 for a polo is not happening), WITHOUT any visible insignia? Something that says "I realize how old I am and I am not trying to look like a kid" but that also does not say "I am so old that I color my hair."

Thanks.

Kent Wang. The collars are made like shirt collars and, as a result, fit under a jacket better than the usual polo collar.

Never would have thought of that and I do like to support the Wang.

Wang or Sunspel (which was more reasonable at the end-of-summer sale in July).

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
