1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

why do you like the 6 eyelet configuration? I prefer 5.

When you have too many shoes, you will go there too. This is the 6 eyelet black calf captoe that I was referring to.

Those are both gorgeous. I like the slightly canted heel as well.

Beautiful shoe, Marcel. I've always loved a simple oxford such as this one.

does the number of eyelets really bother you? what's about 4, 3, 2, 1?

3 is the least I can tolerate, 5 ist the most. I'm as narrow-minded as that.

    Magnificent work Marcel. Very elegant.
Honorable mention also to a pair of scotchgrain Budapester wingtips you did awhile back for one of the members here. Rich and traditional. You have truly gifted hands.
