I recently noticed that those silver teapots look really really nice and I wish I had one. Why does nobody sell them anymore? Any hints where to get one besides an antique shop?

A specialised dealer in antique silver will have the best selection, while an auction house will normally offer the lowest prices - try estate sales. Because people can't be bothered to polish silver anymore, prices on say, 20-30 years old sets are often barely above the scrap value.

Try to get the whole set, though; pot, cream and sugar. And maybe a tray, although that will crank the price up a bit, of course.

Auctions are the way to go. Full tea sets might be harder to find at a real bargain, as they tend to end up at the nicer auctions where there are more dealers and educated buyers. But if you're willing to slog through a bunch of smaller auctions looking for that needle in a haystack find, you can have some luck.

Related story - I was at a small local police lodge auction on New Year's Day with my gf - we were looking for cheap furniture for our nursery - but a Steiff Rose sterling carving set came up. The only other people who seemed to want it had already won something similar earlier in the day and we stole the set for $25.
