Hello StyleForum members. I am a newbie and this is my first post. I have several silk ties like Dormeuil, Cerruti, Armani, Boss, Versace etc . I would like to know if taking them to the dry cleaners is risky? Could the process harm the ties texture & color? Any advice would be welcomed.

Welcome!
I would not take your ties to a dry cleaner. If they are not stained there is no reason to have them cleaned. If they need cleaning I would send them to a specialist like Tiecrafters in New York. A neighborhood dry cleaner is more likely than not to crush the tie flat in their press. This will leave the tie looking flat and lifeless.

Thank you for the advice. Cheers!
