Hi,
I just received a silk shirt in the mail. It is new with tags still attached, however there appears to be minor soiling that looks almost like blue ink located along the lining of the button holes and ONLY along the button holes. Is it possible that silk will stain 'naturally' - it being a natural protein? The shirt is 4 years old and has almost certainly been sitting in a storage area with other clothing since. I'm sure it will come out with a dry cleaning, but wonder if anyone here has experienced something similar?
Thank You
