LOL. I'm sure I did at some point, indirectly. He and I have the sort of relationship - come to think of it, it's the sort of relationship I think he has with most people - where random "teasing" insults that are mostly in jest but contain some vague undercurrent of insecurity are par for the course. He's actually an incredibly decent, generous guy who has been there for me and others, both professionally and personally, over the years. You just have to - well, you don't have to, but I do - take the surface irascibility as part of the package.
His recent (successful) bout with prostate cancer provides ample fodder for cheap shots, so payback is never difficult.
