Siesta

I've some Latino in me (Cuban) but I haven't met many people who actually do this in the states. Anyone here make this nap part of their everyday routine? Do you notice any substantial improvement in quality of life?

I think the US should instate a mandatory Siesta period every day.

I take a thirty minute siesta every day followed by a merienda.

not everyday but sure when I have a party or have to stay up late for something. Parties here tend to start at 10-11 pm and go well into the next morning.
