I haven't seen a thread on them here so I thought I'd make one. I currently own three pairs of Sid Mashburn shoes. My first being a Chocolate Suede Chelsea Boot Made In Spain. My other two are a Black Cap Toe Balmoral and a Cap Toe Semi-Brogue in Autumn Brown Calfskin both Made in England.

Sid Mashburn has shoes made in England, Spain, and Italy. I can confirm that the English and Spanish shoes fit similar and between sizes (10.5) they fit the same for me. The Italian Loafers I believe I have to size down a bit. Having done a bit of research and talking to a SA I know that they use Alfred Sargent as their English Shoemaker but I'm unsure who they use for the other countries.

I've seen most of their shoes range between $450 - 700 and some of their shoes increasing in cost to keep up with inflation. For example my Chocolate Suede Chelseas I paid $450 for in 2016 and as of 2020 they are listed at $495. If you're lucky you can scoop discounts such as the PREVAIL 20% off sale or on eBay. I think even at full price they are very well crafted shoes for the money and more of a mid-higher end shoe.

Anyway here are some shots of my shoes by Sid Mashburn.

Black Cap Toe Balmorals - Leather Sole - I was lucky to get these for $200 on eBay only worn once.

Waist looks a little too wide for AS ; AS Exclusive range has super tight waist and very asymmetrical. Can the source confirm it's AS? If it really is I may be down to cop a pair or two during this PREVAIL sale... though I am a bit salty they took off the Alden Tassel Loafers in Shell Cordovan (maybe they caught wind of someone putting it in his shopping cart (me)).

I'll have to find them again. They were a former SA at Sid Mashburn. I was thinking that they were AS but I do know that Sid Mashburn uses the same lasts across their shoe line.

There's some Edward Green's on sale on their site too.

I do and the made in England are definitely Alfred Sargent. Can't say who makes the made in Spain but likely the same factory that makes Septieme Largeur's shoes.

I'm fairly certain the English shoes use the AS99 Last.

Thought so. Do you have any Sid Mashburns?
Yes, I have the cap and the double Monk strap. Like most of Mashburn‘s offerings, they go with the wide variety of clothing. I wear them with everything from jeans to suits. And I do think it is good quality for the money

If anyone has a pair of the made in Italy tassel loafers and would care to comment, that would be great

I have two pairs of the made in Italy penny loafers and would highly recommend. Stay TTS. I grabbed both 20% off but would pay full price

I just ordered the Vaquero Suede Boots for 70% off. Seemed to good to pass up. Made in Spain. I will post some pictures and thoughts when I get them.
