Shrinking/tightening a wool beanie

I have a wool Lacoste beanie that has become stretched out to the point where it doesn't provide my head much warmth anymore. Is there anyway I can "tighten it up" ? I don't really want to shrink it per say, just make it fit tight like it used to.
