Anyone know how the eg x vans run? I want to pick up a pair of the new mismatched pair in white, but would like to confidently know what size to buy.

You could contact Nepenthes in NYC and they might be able to help you out.

Thanks. I'd had a recollection of someone striking out with that in the past, but they did offer to forward my request to production and see if they could come up with something.

I quite like this collection and to me it feels more like a collaboration ie. Woolrich, then the polo shirts. This should have been his first launch with Uniglow. My only hope is that the run is limited, so that not every Tom, Dick & Harry is strolling by with one on.

I must say Gary, your sentiment feels quite elitist for a brand where the designer expresses it's not a fashion brand, but for those who appreciate clothes. Over the years, the prices of Engineered Garments has gone up and this makes it more difficult for young people who love clothes to get into EG. If I remember correctly when I was graduating high school in 2012 an EG workshirt was $180. It was a stretch, but we made it happen. Now I see stores selling workshirts for $240-280, Bedfords for $500, Fatigues for $265-290. This makes it harder for people working part time minimum wage jobs.

The Uniqlo x EG releases are a way to bridge this gap. I've loved seeing all the high school and college kids wearing their EG x Uniqlo polos on Instagram with their thrifted and mall clothes. Sure, some are hypebeast, but for many they've wanted SOMETHING from Daiki for some time and this was the first real opportunity they had. So I hope as the collab continues they create bigger collections and continue to maintain affordable prices so everyone can enjoy.

I don’t think liking limited runs and not liking polos means wanting high prices.
