It's a nice jacket. Very soft suede. I rarely put it on but the night called for it.

Did anybody pick up or try on the Battenwear camp shorts from this season? Wondering if they run huge like recent EG pants or if I should go more TTS. TIA!

Any predictions on the SS23 "theme"? I'm going to guess something to do with fishing.

I'm thinking a "The Northman" season to follow up on the "The Lighthouse" collection. Loincloths and furs and plenty of blood and guts. Or maybe it'll take after "The VVitch" with waistcoats, petticoats, doublets and breeches.

Couple new pick ups

Thanks @noob in 89 for the Loiter!

The subtle texture and patchwork on the white combo short collar shirt is awesome.

Great pickups. I was actually eyeing the shirt up. It's been a while since I've picked up an EG shirt, probably FW20. How is this one sized? TTS? I'm generally a medium, though I've sized down to S in EG before given how oversized some of my past shirts have been.

In case you missed it (I always miss it), Nepenthes is having a sale on summer items…right here in the summer.

Is this typical? I was so stoked…

Also: random question:
anyone have or know where to get Upland vest straps? (The little four inch thing that connects the chest buttons when open). Nepenthes said I’d have to as k my tailor to make one. They didn’t seem to understand my tailor hates clothing and has trouble hemming pants…

Does anyone have experience with the CP Waffle fabric?

I’m considering picking up a Bedford in CP Waffle. I’m looking for a warmer weather jacket, but I’m not sure whether CP Waffle would be appropriate in terms of weight/breathability.

They’re fairly breathable and kind of structured.

I usually go with L in EG and it fits me pretty well. I think M would be a little tight on the shoulders and short on the sleeve length

Skateboarding I guess?

We’ll see how it turns out but I feel like there are plenty of designers/brands doing skateboarding/streetwear stuff at the moment. I’ve kind of enjoyed EG for being mostly apart from that.

Is it explicitly skatewear, or are they just…skating? (I couldn’t tell).

I’d love to know some good brands doing that well. Also feel sorry for the old models if they got mixed because they couldn’t ollie.
