This Bedford popped up on Depop, and I was wondering if any of you could give some insight as to why it doesn’t look like it has removable buttons like so many other Bedfords do (apologies if this is obvious or common knowledge... still a bit new to EG) or if anything looks off based off the pictures that are provided.

Seller is asking $250 (might see if they take a slightly lower price).

I bought a BNWT Bedford in size XL (the double cloth corduroy/velveteen patchwork one from AW 19) a couple months ago that I think may be just a little bit too big on me (will be posting a fit pic for feedback soon), but if I can get the one above for the right price, I might do it.

Thank you!

There is such thing as NB Jacket (New Bedford jacket probably) which was introduced in SS 18 collection.
It can be distinguished from a regular Bedford by fixed buttons, buttoned surgeon cuffs, lack of cross stitching on top shoulder panel and slightly slimmer and longer fit.

Now the jacket you have posted does have this top cross stitching. Probably it is an NB jacket from SS18 when they still had this detail.

I would be interested in that patchwork Bedford if you decide to part with it.

Thanks for dropping some knowledge on the jacket!

Any suggestion for loafers that work well with the EG look? Looking to spend maybe under 300.

Possibly wrong but I think it’s from the same season as this:

If it is, then it’s a brushed cotton herringbone. And if it is that, then I think it’s either AW14 or AW15 as I have a pair of fatigues in the same fabric from then which to my knowledge, they didn’t use again? I remember seeing a shot somewhere of a guy in that parka, with the fatigues and a pair of Birkenstock’s (possibly stood in an outdoor basketball court?)- looked great.
