Weird flex but ok.

I agree with the OP. That watch design is barely usable. It would be more accessible if the hands moved counterclockwise, like the numbers.

Take this stock image as an example. It's unclear whether the time is 10:10 or 2:50/14:50. The hands say one thing, the numbers say another, making it open to misinterpretation.

Also, check your ableism.

It’s obvious that you don’t own any of the Timex.

Had to laugh when you think that I’m flexing about being able to read reversed Arabic numerals. I can’t btw, at least not without spending more time than usual to interpret it.

The trick is to ignore all the reversed dial information and just use the triangle indexes to tell time. It is terribly confusing to a casual onlooker, and that is the brilliance to the design.

Looks great, but doesn't scream EG to me. Thoughts?

Also speaking of collabs, EG x CC just got posted on their site.

I grabbed the khaki jacket and the blue hat, stoked to see what the 65/35 fabric feels like in person.

Greetings EG fiends, a question for the hive mind. How do the recent field vests fit? Particularly thinking of the SS23 ones. I’m normally a small in EG though a medium in the bedfords and generally a medium for other brands.

Your collective thoughts would be appreciated!

Probably medium. They're TTS but you can also size up if you want to layer with it.

Just a thought, but perhaps Daiki is winding down his involvement with EG?
The previous 3 collections seemed sort of a homecoming to how he got into clothing (i.e. Ivy, Comme) and I'm just curious how someone follows that up creatively, because to me it seems like a book-end. Which is maybe why the latest Spring season seems a little dull? If that were the case, I would probably want to collaborate heavily with brands and partners I admire before then.
