Anyone have sizing tips on Loiter and Andover jackets? Im typically a small in the modern Bedfords (probably a medium in the older ones) but generally wear a S-M.

Also, has anyone handled the poly/acrylic/wool blends they’ve been using? Im not adverse to synthetic blends but it’s hard to tell if it feels cheap without handling it in person.
TTS for Loiter. I've had to size up for the Andover jacket (broad shoulders) but the last time I had one was maybe SS20 or 19, so it could be different now.

I would go with whatever you normally wear in EG, so probably S. The Loiter is cut boxier

I have a lot of the newer blends. They all feel fine, doesn't affect me purchasing more EG.

Any tips for matching (blazer and trouser) sets? A local stockist got a Loiter jacket and fatigue pant in matching HBT fabrics this season, but I'm wondering if this will be an ideal, obviously ultra-casual match. I did have a FW20(?) Bedford and really loathed the fit of it but the Loiter looks more my speed.. I will be going in to try it all on but am just curious in the meantime.

The synthetics are great in the more rugged outerwear, you can wear it out and hard just like any Arc'teryx or Patagonia et cetera item.

The og combo is the bedford and the fatigues, and the closest traditional suit is the andover pair. But match whatever with whatever if you think it looks good

Depends what you're after from the suit. If you want it to be slightly "dressy", I'd personally go Carlyle's. Been my favourite to complete a suit for a while and they've changed the fit so its less tapered this year and a wee bit looser which I think is even better and works great with a Loiter.

If thats not what you want, I'd personally go with IAC or overpants over fatigues but that probably because I'm a bit bored of fatigues, andovers and bedfords and like the different shapes these give for a very unusual suit.

The advanced move will be to track down some Oxford or Sarrouel pants for a suit but I have a feeling very few places will stock them. Its a shame to see so many places ignoring the more interesting bits from the new collection and just buying the same old same old.

Something that would go well together and as separates, this is definitely what makes the fatigues appealing to me. Also since my FW2something black fatigues are getting a little tired.
I was really hoping to try the new Trans jacket but doesn't seem to be a hot commodity at the stockists quite yet.

Trans jacket is lovely but very different to the Loiter. Comes up slimmer than most jackets apart from probably the Andover whereas the Loiter is the boxiest.

Looking forward to the zip jacket myself. Fingers crossed these styles start popping up somewhere soon.

I see! I wouldn't have known from its scant online presence. I'm hopeful some of the more adventurous styles appear, thank you for the input

For those who were thinking of getting the new Paraboot-EG new collab shoe that released today, you can use code MAF25 for additional 25% off at Cultizm.
