The price increase has more to do with the rising cost of cotton production than the amount of synthetic fabric used.
It's 2024, and many polyesters such as COOLMAX and ALPHADRY are more breathable, lightweight and quicker-drying than cotton.
The notion that synthetic fabrics are somehow cheaper, and or of lesser quality than manmade fabrics is simply an old way of thinking.

Does anyone have any fit pics with the Regimental Stripe Loiter from this year?

I really like it but don’t know if it’s actually that wearable? I’m still kicking myself for sleeping on the one they did a couple of years back, so this is partly why I’m interested in this year’s, but haven’t seen too many pics of it being worn. Particularly interested in seeing if it can be dressed down successfully or is it too preppy? Is it going to dominate in outfits and/ or look out of place with things like denim and jersey (sweatshirts and Ts, as opposed to sweatpants)? I can picture it working over a white T with good jeans and I guess more dressed up, but is that it?

I guess I’m looking for both inspiration and reassurance that it’s got some versatility.

Alternatively, if anyone has the one from a couple of years back, pictured below (L or XL, don’t remember how big it fit?) and they don’t want it, I might be interested….

I've seen the latest fabric a bunch of times through Nepenthes stores and other retailers and the colors are a bit too washed out in my opinion.

That reverse weave conversation got me wanting to weave, so my girlfriend has been teaching me, haha.

Is that a fairly accurate representation of the colour of the fabric on that Loiter? Seen it on a few sites and it looked quite washed out but it looks nice and deep there.

Anyone with a pair of the Clarks EG Desert Khan here? Wondering how they fit. Found a pair on sale in my sneaker size, but I've heard some Clarks boots run big, anyone with experience care to comment?

If they fit like Desert Boots, which I assume they do as I’m pretty sure it’s just a low cut Desert Boot (happy to be corrected on this), then they’ll run big.

Same. I like this season. And I love who Daiki's referencing, such as Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto. But the one-off seasonal cuts aren't for me. Curious to see where they end up getting stocked
