Report back with pics!

I’m not tall, and don’t like it when their jackets creep beyond their standard-ish 29.5”.

So in my case, it would be the NB jacket, which is a bit longer than my Bedfords and am wondering getting it hemmed an inch.
The jackets are similar, but I wouldn't compare the length. The Bedford is like a chore coat with lapels. The NB Jacket is a casual sports coat - it's intended to be longer (usually about 2").

An 1" hemmed should be fine, but I'd ask yourself if you're trying to force an NB Jacket to become a Bedford. If so, why not just get another Bedford?

Fair point about replacing with another Bedford. I suppose the hemming route seems simpler than selling and buying. Aside from a competent tailor anything I need to consider should I get an inch hemmed?
Thanks!

Haven’t posted a fit in awhile. Wish the floral pattern on the coat came through a little better

Since this is one of two most active EG threads, thought I'd ask my question regarding the Bedford's length here. Anyone ever have their Bedford's length shorted or have thoughts on doing this? Thanks!
Bedford is a very casual jacket. How long is it that you would bother to hem it? In other words, don't do it.
I have an NB jacket. I will check it when I get home. You need to see where the pockets fall relative to the hem of the jacket. you run the risk of ruining the proportions of the jacket by hemming it.
I compared a relatively recent NB with a comparable Bedford (recent as in the last year or so) and the Bedford is about a half inch shorter in length in size L.

There is a reasonable amount of space between the base of the pockets and the hem. You can probably have the jacket shortened 1-2 cms without totally killing the proportions. But I think the proportions may still be off as a result.

I can't imagine shortening the jacket will make a difference since the NB is a very casual jacket and should be worn as such. I would either lean into the length or sell it.

Has anybody handled/worn the Cruiser Jacket from this year? Thinking of going for one but can't decide between M or sizing up for a L for more layering.

Thanks everyone for feedback on the length of the NB jacket.

Anyway, want to get a fit check on aforementioned NB, particularly on the shoulders. I got it Dec '19 and went unused due to the pandemic. In that time, body changed a bit, shoulders got a bit smaller. I get the relaxed aesthetic but want to feedback nonetheless.

Thanks in advance!

Looks great to me. I wouldn’t worry about the shoulders; not like it’s the kind of jacket where you’d obsess over that, as long as it looks good.

Is this flannel?

Haha thanks. Thoughts on the shoulders?
The fit is perfect in my determination. The only thing is that when you roll those sleeves down, they're going to be a little longer than they should be but the sleeve button holes are cut and you have to shorten then from the shoulder. 90 bucks, ouch!
