xpost. first day wearing the hartford jacket. really really like it. the stitching is way more subtle than in pictures (although maybe this is because of the color - olive v. the grey one), the fabric is great, and the fit is (how I'd hoped) very similar to the andover. now i want a grey one too :embar:

Fit on that jacket is excellent, particularly the chest/natural waist and the overall length.

I'm curious as to the make of those boots? I really like them (from what I can tell).

As others have said, the jacket looks great. I agree with a few commenters that the bucket hat is all in how you wear it. If you are comfortable and confident I think you definitely can pull it off.

Gives me a bit of a Woody Allen vibe (in the good "comfortable, rumpled trad style" way, not the weird "marry your daughter" way).

Finally got the FW-14 Shawl Collar Knit Jacket after waiting all season for the sales. Its very warm so I'm optimistic that it will hold up to the next polar vortex.

had nice weather recently (read: 50F & not raining), had this jacket out one more time before it will probably lie dormant for 6 months. liked this one a bit more than the previous i'd posted with it.

^ lovely. Always loved that psychedelic print.

I managed to find a little time and a little luck with the weather to post another fit pic.
Mind you I won't get to wear this stuff till may/June next year at the earliest.

    Overparka / dark navy geometric
Bask shirt / olive navy floral jacquard
Long beanie / Dk navy sweater knit
Shooting pant / Dk navy red floral jacquard
Oak Street bootmakers / custom trail Oxford mismatch / brown black natural

Taken a few more pics but I'll have to upload these another time (soon though) happy new year EG rollers

    ^ Love randomthought and knight.

@Jorme I think you got some good feedback in WAYWT and I would also wear open. By the way, did you downsize on the knit? Maybe, it is because you put the belt around, but I think those knits pop especially well worn a bit oversized which they are designed for.

Thanks @mbaum went with the small, as medium felt a bit over sized for my body. I will try to post a pic untied. Always second guess my sizing with EG since im usually between small and medium, but happy with the knit jacket. Only thing I would say is the arms get a bit tight when layering sweaters below.
