On a suit jacket or sportcoat, can you give the descriptions of each of the shoulders in these Napoli brands?
I find alot of talk about how Borrelli is either you love or hate it, how the shoulders are peculiar, etc.

    This is what I know:
Isaia and Kiton have the most soft shoulders out of the grouping. Lower gorge and a more relaxed look. This is my preference.

Attolinis that ive seen here and in person almost look like you need a military stance. Very high gorge and the shoulders are very peaked without being roped. Very formal looking.

Brioni all I see are shoulders when i try them on. even in my correct size, it emphasizes my head to look like a doorknob on a plane of shoulders.

I guess my question is what is the description of Borrelli's silhouette/shoulders?
    And
I never found out, but what does Neapolitan mean in terms of design/look?

    Vox, you are hilarious.

Sho - I recall a couple of years ago a thread that discussed these differences with pictorals and everything. I will see if I can find that link.

thanks . sorry couldnt find anything but buying and selling threads and just people posting comment as to what they like but not really educationally describing.

This is a big generalization but generally speaking Roman tailoring has more structure to it than Italian tailoring further south. It is also a bit cleaner. Given you're looking at ready to wear, these generalizations are probably more apt than were you considering bespoke.
