Curious about everyone's opinion: Should one never mix a peak lapel vest with a notch lapel jacket when having a 3 pc suit made?

should the lapels on a vest and jacket match for a 3 pc suit?

No, I don't think they should have to match. I'm actually wearing a shawl collar vest right now, but my jacket has notch lapels.
In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a vest with peak lapels. Are there any pictures or diagrams on the internet for one?
