Why? Throw it on and take a photo.

Looks less green on my screen, and more of a dark greenish blue, like a deep teal. I like it for an evening.

What shade of green is that? Looks kind of emerald on my screen.

Yes. What are you thinking for shoes?

I just don't have the time right now. I'm actually doing something while I'm posting (not driving).

Sorry guys, here is a picture of the fabric.

I like it. Only objection is that it's August, and to me, that is more of a fall color, but we live in a nearly seasonless world.

Hmmm, that may be true. As the first fit I posted in here suggests I don't necessarily stick to seasonal pallets, but the criticism is well taken.

    Yes.
It's okay, but black derbies < double monks < tassels in this context.

Once again late, but if your photo of the jacket is color correct I think that would be a great evening outfit. And black derbies seem right. The color and slight sheen give it a bit of a retro vibe that I think would work for a casual dinner.

On the other hand, if the swatch photo is more correct then daytime only.

NB: I have no basis for that opinion. Pure instinct.

Not too late. It hasn't been worn yet. Tonight.

Looks and sounds good to me. How does a midnight blue tie look with that kit? How do you like the drape and feel of the gabardine?

The fabric is great. I wouldn't call anything luxurious on a regular basis, but this gabardine definitely fits that description. I'd recommend it.
