1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I wish I had them back so quickly! They are at Alden now getting fancied up. Im hoping for a quick turnaround, but maybe 4 more weeks... pics will be posted, for sure. I have high hopes for an awesome patina!

Liking those a lot! I have to say that with Alden shells, the restoration seems to be almost always worth a shot, no matter how bad they look!

The shoes look great--congratulations! I think that the price of new shell shoes makes the restoration expense particularly worthwhile.

Wholeheartedly agree. I especially love the Horween stamp on the bottom. [IMG]

I've seen it referred to here as a heel pad.

Has anyone had a pair enlarged or know if it is possible (10 -> 10.5)?
