Yep it is Moncler. There is a small badge on the arm office/pocket but that is it. Sort of minimalist as Moncler goes, but you definitely have to like that shine.

I like the nuptse too, definitely 90's poofy puffy.

CDW makes amazing stuff. I have the italian vest (sup @jet) and love it. But different aesthetic than moncler for sure

Our legacy
Wants to add a bulky boots into my collection, and decided on these two combat boots style.
It’s like double price difference between both boots. Not familiar with our legacy footwear quality, would love to get some insight.
Thank you

Guidi.

OL footwear quality used to be fantastic, erring on the side of overbuilt. Recent-season stuff has been solidly constructed, but consistently lighter (in a not-good-way) than I expected. If you want comfy-day-1 boots those Survivors might be great, and they LOOK great, but I doubt they'll be as satisfying as Guidis.

That said, the chrome eyelets will give a very different look than the eyelet-less look of the Guidis.

Thank you, by "satisfying" do you mean how it's patina and wear will develop over time? Do you know what's is a good price range for guidi 795 usually go for when it's on sale?
pass on moncler

for boots, depends on last shape and your outfits imo
I believe the guidi are slightly more bulky on the toe and less structured than OL. My style is somewhat a mix of H.A and SLP with slightly "darker" clothing brands. mostly slimmer or tapered pleated trouser, which I think it works somewhat works with the bulky boots

I mean the OL boots feel wimpy and insubstantial - not familiar with those specifically, but based on my experience from others the same season - while the Guidis are the complete opposite.

I once got a pair of 795s for $500, but that was lucky. (Old Mr. P sale) Sub-$600 is solid. Note that they're ******* huge, and will stand out in any fit you wear em in.

its less about the bulk and more about the sleekness. if you like ha and slp, i would go for the sleeker of the two boots

idk about those guidis tho. at least from that angle they look like sleek cm boots with a lug sole.

they actually look too workwear for me for a ha or slp outfit. it's basically a jungle boot, but it might depend on the actual outfits.
