been looking for a moc toe shoe. think I can take a scissors to the edge of the top trim and cut off the fringes and the beads (Visvim Trekker)? like the boot just not feeling that part. I can get these for the price of new Clarks almost.

I like wallabies a lot and have several pairs. Instead of cutting up the Visvims you would be much better off getting a pair of Padmore Barnes wallabies. Much better quality than Clark’s, more versatile shape than the Visvims and more color options.

Cotton Twill. For some reason, I like the brown and white combo way more than any other example of this - which I usually think are terrible. Would wear them mixed, not as a suit. Are these bad too?

If you work in the creative field or tech, sure why not. Wear it with black side zips and a slutty tee. I do like the color FWIW. The stripe down the side is very extra.

I would pass. Not a fan of the stripes down the sides of the pants even when not worn as a suit.

Trying to order some clips to go with these prescription eyeglasses.

Matte silver clips with either grey, G15, or brown lenses, which one? Was recommended to go with grey lenses but I am personally leaning towards brown. I mean I can get both to switch it up but that would be $500.

#1 is probably a "no" but I keep coming back to it. Then I want one of the two brown boots - Viberg x Himel Ammunition Boots and Nicks Falcons, respectively. Leaning toward the Nicks, but the Vibergs look great with even a bit of break-in.

^The middle boot looks best to me. The first ones are too chunky, they look like children's shoes. Boots like that need to be sleek and pointed for that ass kicking/Randall Flagg vibe. The last ones are too ornamental for that style of shoe, also the stamped logo is just plain wrong.

Thanks, now that you point it out I agree across the board. First ones are Soloist, so your read is well put.

@gettoasty Personally I'd go with brown, I think it'll look cool with the clear frames and add a bit of necessary color and contrast. The clear-plus-grey is a little too bland.
