If yes, any advice for sizing?

I wasn't impressed by the Patagonia fleeces (especially at $200) when I tried them on years ago and ended up getting the Uniqlo x EG fleece instead. Was much cheaper, looked better, and the quality was on par.

Uniqlo never brought back that collab but they have a White Mountaineering fleece one now. Maybe try that?

Finding myself drawn to cardigans after some 10+ years without wearing one. I like these offerings from Arpenteur and Monitaly, but can only pick one for the sake of my wallet. The Arpenteur is definitely more low-key and easier to pair (it also comes in a few colorways), but I do like the texture on the Monitaly cardigan and it just looks fun to wear.

Thoughts?

The Monitaly by a million miles. Pure unadulterated fire.

I would take any of the Needles cardigans over that Monitaly one any day. I am also not positioned in the Monitaly sweater so I have no axe to grind.
Please post fit pics in your needles cardigans. Some of them are pretty cool.

I don’t see any needles options in what @ollinnr posted. He asked opinions between two cardigans, one of which is kinda boring, buttons too high for a collarless cardigans and has strange brown-beach-inspired pocket configuration. The other is just fresh AF.

And wtf is the last statement? Why would you be “positioned in the Monitaly sweater”? What does that mean? Is it just a passive-aggressive way to imply that my recommendation is biased because I’m myself positioned in the sweater (lol at that inane sentence)?

I like the Parabots. No idea about sizing

Patagonia fleece is cool. Sort of like asking if you should buy Levi's 501 jeans -- seems like the sort of basic thing that works in some wardrobes and languishes in others.

I like the Monitaly cardigan better than the Arpentuer.

Not a fan of the Arpenteur for a few reasons: I don't like ribbed sleeves on non-traditional cardigans, the 4 patch pockets almost gives it a utility vibe and if you're going that route I feel the 18 east utility sahasika looks better, and it may be the lighting/flash when the pic was taken but I don't like the contrast of the shiny buttons and the matte black color of the cardigan

The Monitaly cardigan is awesome - reminds me of ts(s) stuff, actually. And the other one looks like a jacket not a cardigan...

PS: I am not 'positioned' in any brand in any way. Thank-you.

The cardigan + pant combo are too good here!

I totally forgot about Needles' fuzzy cardigans. I'll take a look at them as well.

I'm aware NMWA carries the Monitaly cardigan. Greg's opinion is still appreciated :)

I do like the utility vibe and I think the metal snaps fit in with that. But now I can't unsee the ribbed sleeve and am not loving how it bunches. Good eye.
