More overcoat talk...but does anyone have experience with Document's Heavy Melton Coat? Namu Shop carried it last year: https://www.namu-shop.com/products/document-wool-cashmere-heavy-melton-coat.

I'm considering it in navy vs. the Kaptain Sunshine Traveler Coat in navy or mid gray and do quite like the side entry pockets.
It’s a really nice coat. Fabric is less rigid than the KS melton and collar is less impressive/large. It’s a different vibe overall, softer, more relaxed? Very nice coat, like everything Document makes tbh

This may not be the correct place to ask, but is there anywhere to get a heavier wool coat that's on the shorter end (more like pea coat) but won't make me look like a sailor? I was thinking about getting the RMC WWII pea coat as an alternative to my KS Traveler for days I don't feel like wearing a long coat, but I'm afraid it gives too much of a sailor vibe...

Looking to buy my first corduroy trousers.

What colors do you find most versatile for corduroy (I.e. what would you buy first)? Chocolate? Mid brown/caramel? Olive? Forest green? cream/beige?

I've always liked the "Bond Peacoat" from Billy Reid. Daniel Craig wore it in Skyfall in 2012:

Otherwise, you could always go with a Cruiser Coat:

Or you could go with a Zip Up Blouson:

Hi gents,

Continue my seek for a check coat, I ran into these two options. One from Dolce & Gabbana, and one from Trussardi Jeans. I have no experience regarding these two brands, and both made from wool & poly blend. Also, I found these pieces from Yoox, which doesn't provide much information about the product.

Here's my questions: 1) Does the D&G coat worth the money? Or I should go to other brands where I don't pay so much on the big name. 2) My impression to "Jeans" line of big brands are not so well, like Armani Jeans. What do you think about Trussardi Jeans products? Otherwise, the style and price are quite tempting.

Thanks for your time and comments ahead.

Can't speak to either brand you've linked, but if I had the dough to drop I'd get one of these.
