And what about this washed denim Sukiyaki Western shirt from Kapital? Maybe together with that cord trucker? ?

I own a persimmon version of this design and would recommend it for all the cool little details and ways to wear it. I'm not super hot on this washed denim version but if you do pull the trigger I'd recommend buying slightly oversized so it looks less comical if you decide to wear it wrapped around.

Very nostalgic piece for me - one of the first things I got off eBay around 2015 after reading a bit more into fashion styles on the internet. Notice (in the first photo) the little strap that extends from just below the armpit onto a button.

Agree it should be a bit oversized/loose otherwise it will look like you lost some buttons and are clumsy with a stapler.
Cool piece though.

I want another 1 or 2 knit polos.
I have a Lemaire shirt sleeve and long sleeve from the current season and have been wearing them both a lot, especially the short sleeve.
So I’ve been trying to find something similar for a while.
knit fabric
Ideally a zip placket, or a longer placket or even a full placket.
something with a retro vibe.
I am open to any recs people may have. But so far these are on the short list.

if anybody has experience with any of these or tips for something else please let me know.

so far I’m leaning toward one of the top 2, but not sure I can find the first one in my size.
The Yuri and Yuri ones all look nice (pic 3 - 6) too, I’d never heard of them before so I have no idea what they’re like or what size I would be.

I like the neutral coloration and simple but appealing textures of the first one and the similar one right above the Etro polo, but they both have buttonless split collars which are a dealbreaker for me.

The Etro paisley would look better in a different colour IMO (especially green), something about the little flecks of purple and yellow looks off with the blue tone.

Of these, as-is, I would probably go for the zig-zag #2. Out of curiosity, is it Missoni?

The second one (zig zag) is Christian Kimber.
I don’t mind the open collar, but I see your point, i never fasten a polo to the top anyway.

Well thanks everyone for chiming in. I honestly can't say wether I think the shirt is pure genius, pure madness or maybe both. Or if it's just plain bad. Maybe that's come il faut with Kapital...

Anyway, I feel somewhat strangely drawn to it. So maybe the only way to say is to get it and see if it sticks.

Those all look nice. Only ones I don't like is the one below Kimber and the paisley one. Of them all, I would go with the first two or the cream, full-button-front Yuri & Yuri.

@dieworkwear Yeah the Etro one is dumb. I still don't know whether to love or hate Etro. But I like Paisley.
Kind of surprised you don't like the 3rd one though (it's also Yuri and Yuri). That colour / pattern combo is pretty appealing to me though i don't know what the sleeve buttons are for.

Do you know anything about Yuri & Yuri? I saw that The Rake has it. But have never seen or heard of it before.

I kind of like this one, and the price is great.

In general, I've liked a number of things I've seen from Far Afield.
