Can someone with better color correction tell me if the stripes in this shirt are black or navy? It's the second colorway, the teal. My work monitor sucks. All my shoes / jackets are brown, so if it's black I probably wouldn't get.

Also, is this a bad deal for a navy cardigan?

I'd probably wear it under this, which I already own:

Black diors, waxed only on the bottom below the knee. black warp/weft, kind of felt-like denim apparently.

The spoiler shows the half-waxed effect better.

I am thinking that half-waxed might be better than fully waxed black jeans, which could look like leather pants.

Disagree with snow to the extent that I think the RRL cardigan and the Levis FIlson trucker aren't totally at odds.

But I still don't know if the pairing totally works. First, how does that jacket fit you? Most people who bought em last year were wearing em pretty tight. I know I couldn't fit a knit with much to it under mine.

Might be better off with a thin but warm vest, like the RRL quilted that's on sale, or a filson mackinaw vest (size down on that one)

Explain to me how this is a bad thing.

    (You're probably right, though.)

edit: I think the Levi's x Filson trucker jacket thing is mostly a sizing issue. The Filson collab is cut like most of the other Levi's slim trucker jackets: you can wear your normal size, but it's gonna be a tight, cropped fit (which is fine for a regular denim jacket, IMO), or you can size up if you want to layer under it and still have some freedom of movement. I sized up to an L, and mine still fits in the shoulders but has some additional room in the arms and chest (which makes sense, seeing as how it's water- and wind-resistant, designed for inclement weather).

Someone said the sizing changed recently, though, so it might be worth checking when it's from/whether you can exchange it.

Waxed jeans don't look like leather. Just doesn't happen.

I was going for a look like below, but with the Filson jacket. It's pretty short and tight, but I can fit my chunky wool sweater on under it, although it limits my motion a bit, so I could definitely wear a cardigan. I ended up just ordering the flannel, & I think I'm going to get a cheap cardigan from H&M or something instead of dropping $200 on a really nice one.

I found a better pic, although not the exact jeans I am considering. I like them.
