i've always wanted a simple grey denim shirt, never had one before and am eyeing this one
does this look like a particularly good one or is it just like every other grey denim shirt? it's from simon spurr collection (ss11) and his shirts in S fit me perfectly if that matters

not a fan of the epaulets but if they don't bother you, go for it. It's a great colour

Should I buy a pair of the Jap deadstock 5EP straight legs? I don't super-duper need a new pair of denim right now, but I'm a sucker for the deal and I really like the back pocket stitching. The price also seems pretty good but I honestly wasn't aware of them when they were available retail. If this is the sort of don't-pass-this-up deal on account of the quality of the Japanese 5EPs, I'll gladly invest in them now. Any thoughts?

+1. its like passing on some rafstros bc one cant find anything to carry in the back pocket[IMG]

You pass on 'Rafstros' because they're bad, not because of the back pocket.

I'm just kidding about the holster. I do prefer Rick leathers to Julius though.

    Keep cocaine in your rafstros.

Was just thinking about how charming it would be to stash weed in the side pockets of KangaRoos.

Cock blocking color block? Totally unwearable to me but so close to being the best shorts I've seen. I'd say fuck no - it's almost the equivalent of those victoria's secrets 'pink' shorts.

I own the shorts. I'm looking for shoes to wear sockless with them.

Ah. Well, not those, could go with the standard boat shoe? Even more casual would be a pair of slip-ons if you're willing to venture in that territory. Otherwise, a pair of low CP's would look just fine, some of the newer vintage ones or the two-toned ones with the side zip etc. These: http://www.ssense.com/men/product/co...sneakers/34609
