i find my toj summer to be great as a "formal" piece so im not sure i want to go with the kva. it doesnt look too heavy for winter days at 0 to -10. anything colder ill use the cg.

Uh........not at all. A dress shirt would look terrible under that. Also, if you showed up to any formal occasion with that on, others will find you underdressed. If you want something formal, get a coat. As for the Jil, if you have trouble fitting into a shirt with a 21" p2p, I think the sweater will be tight on you.

the belted coat is nice, and the simple zip coat is nice as well. i bought the apc as a supplement to that one

Yeah but with the kva hooded coat they actually have your size. The one you picked is fine if that's what you're going for. Personally though I would go for the hooded coat- a lot more versatile/wearable.

I have another KVA jacket in the same fabric (90 wool/10 cash) and it is definitely not a formal fabric. Feels nice in fall weather though, kind of like a blanket.

It's an awesome sweater - whether you could pair it with your stuff is another matter entirely. The detail around the neck is fantastic.

This is true of just about any reasonably slim cut outerwear though.

Looking for some shoes online and found a pair I'm considering now. What do you think? To be worn with black or blue skinny jeans or with slim fitting khaki chinos.
