Also interested... any idea how to size these? Does gdl have a fit pic?

Fits true to size. Everyone here knows that my fit pics suck, as you can see below:

i kinda like these because they look gross...not sure if thats a good thing[IMG]

Why are these gross? I wanted a pair in 39s but they sold out in my size before they went on sale. I rarely pay for things at retail :p

Devoa Cotton/Linen "mermaid" pants On hold for me, so I need to decide today. Very wide from the knee down, which is different for me (seemingly even more than the picture indicate) and very expensive for pants (42,000 yen), but beautiful construction, amazing details and the fit is spot-on for me. Last pair in my size anywhere in the country.. [IMG][IMG]

Not waxy at all, the whole shoe is actually grey leather that has some crack dusted on them.

Will consider (srsly, not just being polite!) but they seem baggier than I want and the speckling would make them harder to match with the already limited number of things I could wear sweatpants with.

A bit too flared/baggy for my taste, nn, but if you like the fit I say go for it.

I do like them a lot but I would have liked them a lot more at that price. [IMG]

A bit too flared/baggy for my tastes too. I've been moving towards a more relaxed top block, but I still have a knee-jerk reaction against anything that wide below the knee, which is why I'm not 100% sure. It's a really interesting fit, though, bunching up at the ankle and with a lot of twisting - hard to explain when I'm sleep deprived right now.

By the way, the spring/summer slim denim cargos (well, one cargo pocket) that are parafin coated are an amazing deal for 20,000 yen. Incredibly thick cotton canvas, awesome coating, and perfect slim fit with a banana shape so they have some cool drape around the knee and shins so it's not a straight silhouette. I would NEVER buy cargo pants and I'm going to pick these up

    edit: From Attachment. sleepy, sorry

Oh wow, I just looked them up, certainly an interesting cut. When you said "mermaid" pants I had a feeling it was some sort of banana or J shaped pants. Looks to be a challenge to pull off. [IMG]

Look forward to seeing them on you. I am also trying to get an anti-fit component into my pants game, just sized up on a pair of corduroyish aircuts which will either work like it does in my head or be a total disaster. Stay tuned, B&S.
