[IMG] or [IMG] or neither same price
Leaning towards the second because the first is stretchy apparently and measures 17" p2p on a M. [IMG]

I didn't want to say it bc I was thinking about coppin that.

Just don't like the color of the stitching or it would have been mine.

Good get or not? Some seem to think they're too plain.

They look okay. Maybe if you can get a good discount.

I'm from Aust so I won't get hit with custom fees. Although Caliroots not taking off VAT is criminal

Agreed. I wonder what they are... [IMG]
The Nov 2008 issue of GQ has a two-page spread on winter boots. p.212-213. Looking at it right now. Four of the boots are listed as <$400, two of them <$300. I can scan and up it maybe tomorrow. Brands: Bruno Magli John Varvatos Timberland Boot Company (not Timberland) BoO for Sperry Tod's Cole Haan Ralph Lauren
The pair on the bottom left are BoO x Sperry Boat Boots... The pair on the bottom right are Timberland Boot Company Tackheads... The pair on the top right are John Varvatos Groove Shearling Boots... The sought-after pair on the top left is... ??? [IMG] I bet on Ralph Lauren...

@tozzy: Skip both, what's you're price range? Maybe we can help you avoid the Paul Bunyan look- unless of course you have a blue ox, beard, and an affinity for that sort of thing.
max. 400$, I'm looking for something durable that can withstand snow, salt, mud and water and I would want them to look equally good with or without tucked jeans. I've been looking for quite a while now and it seems shoe manufacturers are collaborating in their efforts to never produce a somewhat decent winter boot.
